Batman deduces that Joker is hiding at the original Arkham Asylum, on the grounds of the modern Arkham hospital. He arrives in time to save Gordon, but not the others. He is placed in the care of Arkham, where he meets Harleen Quinn, in her first year of a psychiatric residency. She decides to write a case study on him.
