At around 2:30 p.m., deputies responded to a home to serve court mandated paperwork on Rodney Morrison. Morrison allegedly threatened deputies with a knife as they attempted to serve the order. Morrison fled from officers and ran a short distance into a field where at least one Leesburg officer shot and killed him.
