Around 1:30 a.m., police responded a home for a possible home invasion. At the home, they encountered four people who began to fire at the deputies. The deputies shot and killed one of the four. A second was flown to VCU Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The two others fled on foot and were arrested a short distance away.
