Ronnie Kong shot and killed a neighbor, 62-year-old Juan Gudino Lopez, then fled into his nearby upstairs residence. Police tracked down a suspected killer in a home, police said. Kong refused to exit the residence until at about 6:15 p.m., when San Diego police Officers Andrew Campbell, Christopher Luth and Tony Maraschiello shot and killed him.
