During Peròn's election, he joined the Partido Laborista giving Peròn a nomination for the presidency. Peròn was able to gain the support of the Radical Civic Union that supported Peròn's ideology with helping workers. The joining to the Partido Laborista gave Peròn a clearer direction in his ideology and was able to spread his message, which entailed giving benefits to workers and increased real wages. Peròn was able to win over more support from opposition from his economic and social policy in military spending and riding of the wealth gap. Proletariat supporters loved Peròn's messages related to his social justice.
