Descripción:

The train stops and everyone is given mushroom soup and allowed a shower. They are then put on a truck and shortly arrive on the banks of the Angara River. They are starved while they wait there. The barges come and take them to the Laptev Sea (Trofimosk). It is the very top of the Artic Circle, near the north pole. Thye have to make houses, since there are no buildings to stay at. They prepare for the polar night where the sun falls below the horizon for 180 days.
