19 jul 1848 año - Seneca Falls Convention
Descripción:
The Seneca Falls Convention was a womens'-rights convention held in New York by prominent suffragists and abolitionists Lucretia Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. While its sectional divide was not as severe as that formed by the question of slavery, its commencement factored into the religious divide amidst the Second Great Awakening and the Protestant soapboxing of the Know-Nothings.
