Workers part of the CNT labor union tried to create a demonstration of a revolution. Throughout this demonstration though, violence broke out when the government wanted to extinguish the spark of revolution occuring in that labor union. This resulted in the Civil Guard and Assault Guard to carry out this act of violence. During this small battle between the kabor union and the Guard, there were two guard that perished, and most of the revolutionaries fled the scene. Guards under the command of Captain Rojas arrived and set fire to the anarchist houses.
