Left wing political groups unite and work together to create the Popular front. The popular front is made of communists, socialists, anarchists, and republicans. This gives them a better chance at winning elections because now they are a unified opposition against CEDA. This way left wing supporters can vote for an agreed upon candidate rather than many different left wing candidates.
