Descripción:

The blueprints were a invention used in the Industrial Revolution. It was succeeded in developing the process that was used to make blueprints by British scientist and inventor, John Herschel. The process allowed the production of a photograph on glass, experimented with color reproduction and was believed to have coined the term photography. The "true" blueprints were different as when ferro-gallate in gum was highly sensitive and when exposed to light in turned into a permanent blue. He successfully hypothesised that a coating of this on paper or other material could be used to copy an image from another translucent document.
