1 ene 1832 año - Electromagnet findings
Descripción:
The electromagnet was the peak of a series of developments from Hans Christian Oersted, Andre-Marie Ampere, and Dominique Francois Jean Arago made based on their discoveries on electromagnetism. A man named William Sturgeon would take these findings of these scientists and build the world's first electromagnet. He discovered that leaving iron inside a coil of wire would greatly increase the magnetic field it created. A realization he also made was by bending the iron into a U shape, it allowed the poles to come closer together, concentrating the field lines.
