Sward was tired and worn out when he arrived at Hillingham. Lucy was up in cheerful spirits and told Seward that he shouldn't stay up late again. He has a good dinner with Lucy and has a couple glasses of wine. They sleep in rooms next to each other so if they need help they can just call out.
