Johnathan finds Dracula sleeping in dirt with blood in his mouth and so he wacks Dracula in the face with a shovel, and boxes, including the Count, are carried off, writes that he will be see how far he can go down the Castle wall as his last chance of escape, and this is the last time that we see Johnathan writing in his journal
