The night before his death, Nissan 14, 33 CE., Jesus announces the new covenant, which is to be validated by his sacrifice.
Luke 22: 20

The purpose of this covenant is to take out a people for Jehovah's name as a part of Abraham's seed. They become the Bride of Christ. The purpose of this new covenant requires that it continue in operation until all of the "Israel of God" are resurrected to immortality in the heavens.
