Bhāskara ll, a mathematical-astronomer wrote a few treasies. The few are Siddhanta Shiromani, Lilavati, Bijaganita, Gola Addhaya, Griha Ganitam and Karan Kautoohal. He had a few contributions which were transmitted to the Middle East and Europe. A few of his contributions are:
-Arithmetical and geometrical progressions
-Plane geometry
-Solid geometry
-Gave a proof of the Pythagorean theorem
