Descripción:

The 2009 Honda CRV my family owns was assembled in Detroit, Michigan. The engine originated in the U.S. and the transmission in Japan. The final assembly point was Marysville, Ohio. Canadian parts make up 70 percent of this vehicle, while 15 percent is sourced from Japan. The engine and transmission originated in the U.S. Some automobiles use parts from other countries. A car being assembled in the United States may import parts from Japan, Germany, or Korea. This creates a whole new avenue for trade, when the United States has to pay for certain parts from around the world, wait for them to be shipped, and then resume localized production to London Ontario where my family bought the car. Some tariffs were also placed as it went over the US- Canada border to be transported to London. This vehicle is an example of economic globalization.
