Khomeini returns back to iran amid a massive welcome as people were excited to finally be able to meet their inspiration, and at a speech right after returning at a cemetery where many revolutionaries were buried, he announced that he would re-appoint the cabinet under his own terms, making himself the sole leader of iran, which would shape the way that modern iranian politics works as it is still largely the same system.
