James Fannin, Sanat Anna, José de Urrea, Mexican soldier, Texas soldiers - The Mexican army led the Texans out to an open field and shot them. Some soldiers fired over their heads to keep them alive. José de Urrea tried to talk to Santa Anna into letting them live, but he had to carry out his order in the end.
