The Mexican government was angered by the formation of a new country along their borders, declared a declaration of action against the Republic of Texas. Texas, being a new nation had realized their threat and prepared their country for attack by fortifying a minor fort called "the Alamo" a sense of pride for the Texans.Añadido al timeline:
