Hasler retired in 1978 and since then the limnology program has had several leaders this includes, John Magnuson, Jim Kitchell, Stanley Dodson, and Steve Carpenter. While continuing Hasler’s tradition studies, this group also follows climate change, ecosystem ecology, modeling, and perspectives on freshwaters.
