The Mohawk Institute was founded with the intention of forced assimilation regarding Indigenous children. Indigenous culture (language, religion, customs etc.) was fundamentally erased from the children attending, while forcing them to live under extreme rules and inhumane conditions. This Historical fact debunks the entire myth, for quite obvious reasons.
