2 h 43 m, 15 nov 1777 año - Articles of Confederation Ratified
Descripción:
The structure of gov't created by the Articles of Confederation was a result of fear. The newly independent states were afraid of having another oppressive king, so the founding fathers created a system that was the polar opposite of England's. Decisions made out of fear are hardly good ones and this can be said about the articles of Confederation. This document gave too much power to the states and not enough power to the federal government. As a result, the federal government couldn't enforce laws and assert itself to the states.
