Avaris steps down his admin position in the Diamond Authority to become a Crystal Gem!

Hey Gems,

There comes a time for us all where we must make big decisions for ourselves. This is one of those times for me. As of today, I’m stepping down as an Admin and as Pink Diamond.

I know this news comes in the wake of some recent…discord around here, but this decision isn’t related to any of that. Being an Admin is difficult role and being a great Admin is even more challenging. It’s been incredibly rewarding to have a direct hand in the growth of the server! But alas, it’s also been taxing too. Too taxing for someone who works a full-time job and only recently found out how to put “myself” on a list of priorities. Rest assured, my life has been turning around and this decision is to further that endeavor.

I also want to reassure you all that our current Admins and Mods work insanely hard to keep this place going. We have debated and planned for days on certain topics and changes to make sure we did it right. We've put a ton of thought into everything we have here, and I know they’ll continue to make this server as excellent as possible.

With that said…I guess my final words as Admin are this: Please, please be excellent to each other and especially yourself. You deserve it. Thank you for kind words, love, and support. I look forward to continuing to talk and sing and joke and pun all the puns with all of you. Thanks for being awesome, everyone.
