Introduced in 1976, the EMT 250 is still regarded as one of the best sounding reverb units ever made and it is still used today in studios influenced by George Massenburg, Bruce Swedien, Daniel Lanois, Brian Eno and Allen Sides. However, this was a very big investment as they cost $25,000 each and there was only 250 ever made. ​
