31 mar 1991 año - Collapse of the Warsaw Pact
Descripción:
The Warsaw Pact was formed in 1955, by the Soviet Union. It was created as a supposed defense pact, in response to the creation of NATO. It was created by the Soviet Union in order to justify its military presence in the eastern bloc. However, by the end of the Cold War, communism had begun to fall across the eastern bloc, with revolutions in Hungary, Czechoslovakia, and with large unrest in most of the other eastern bloc nations. The Warsaw Pact was dissolved on March 31, 1991. With the fall of Communism in Germany, Poland, and others, the Warsaw Pact would be dissolved. This would be a major Blue victory, as it showed how the Soviet Union was falling.
