The Clayton Antitrust Act is passed with the goal of adding futher substance to the U.S. antitrust law regime. It sought to end anticompetitive practices in their incipiency. The act legalized labor union organization and affirmed the right of workers to go on strike. It ensured that companies could not stop the creation of labor unions, peaceful strikes, boycotts, and picketing.
