Descripción:

In this settlement, communities of people lived in grouped huts within an encircling trench of 664 meters that had a single main entrance opening. Along the interior perimeter of the trench a wall was built which supported the wooden palisade surrounding the village. Within the protection of the trenches there are holes in the ground and remains of stucco which show the presence of many circular (and rectangular) dwellings. The cylindrical huts had a large central timber pole to support the roof. The walls were made from boughs and canes and then covered in a clay daub. The village was inhabited throughout most of the Neolithic period.
