1 ene 1830 año - 1830 - Andrew Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act, which required the five civilized tribes of the Southeast to remove themselves to the West. As a result of this act, the Cherokee among others embarked on the Trail of Tears, which killed may as they walked from Georgia to Oklahoma. This was the single largest episode of forcibly relocating Native Americans from their ancestral lands.
