On September 11, 1939 Poland surrenders to Germany and the USSR which results in Germany gaining more land and resources. This is a turning point for the war because the invasion of Poland gave Germany and opportunity to test out his new battle tactic “Blitzkrieg”, the same battle tactic that will terrorize the rest of Europe for years to come.Añadido al timeline:
