The Panama Canal is a canal which runs through Panama and connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and is still in use to this day. France began construction in 1881, but stopped because they can't do anything, and America resumed construction in 1904. Once again, the connection of these two oceans made it much faster to travel around the world, as one would no longer need to go around South America.Añadido al timeline:
