Negotiation between U.S. and Britain that ended the Revolutionary War and recognized U.S. independence. Five people negotiated the treaty; John Adams, Ben Franklin, John Jay, Thomas Jefferson and Henry Laurens. Only Adams, Franklin, and Jay go to Paris.
