In February 1912 the kuomintang forced the last Qing emperor out. Then it proclaimed china a republic. They made three principles. One, political unification and an end of foreign influence. Two, A gradual change to democratic government, with full personal liberties and rights for all chinese people. Three, Economic improvemnts that includ indeustaxtion and more equal distoutistion of land.
