Thaniel escapes his house arrest and searches for Grace; the first place he figures is Matsumoto's apartment because they are close friends. As soon as he gets there, Grace is pulling him back down the stairs. A huge explosion shakes the street, and Grace and Thaniel run away from the scene. They both proved that Mori can predict the future, but only certain events.
