Descripción:
The EMT 250 was introduced by EMT Technical Director Karl Otto Bäder in 1976. This was Designed to be a digital alternative to the EMT 140 plate reverb systems that were absolutely huge by comparison to the new 250. This device offered a new reverberation sound that was packaged in a much smaller, more convenient black box. EMT were responsible for the actual hardware, but a man named Dr. Blesser was responsible for the digital algorithms that brought around the first convincing digital reverberation sound. The EMT 250 had a $20,000 price when it launched in 1976, and only an estimated 250 units were ever built.
