On the morning of October 5, 1789, a large group of women along with their children began to revolt in a Paris marketplace. They wanted to buy bread for their families. They began to march through Paris demanding bread at a fair price. They united and decided that enough was enough. They were victims in all ways of the hierarchy but this financial event was crossing the line between life and death for their families. As they marched, more people joined in common belief amongst the group and soon there were thousands of marchers.
