On this day multiple Arabian states, including tribes, city-states, sheikhdoms, kingdoms, and emirates, were officially united by Ibn Saud after he finished conquering much of the Arabian Peninsula and created the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. While Saudi Arabia is a rich country with a high quality of life (for those not part of a minority), it's also home to a number of human rights abuses and poor social freedom.Añadido al timeline:
