Descripción:

The North Korean troops had pushed the South Korean troops to the Pusan Perimeter which was at the very bottom tip of South Korea. So, MacArthurs plan was to have an amphibious invasion at the port of Inchon which was near Seoul. They completely changed the war and regained control of Seoul.
