This law was one of a kind during this period and hadn't been seen before. This law allowed all married women to have full property rights where before, no women were allowed to own any property or land whatever. This led to women being able to enter into white collar jobs and not have to become or stay as full time housewives or as prostitutes or as private servants to the wealthy. But it some other countries, such as germany, the same strides in reform could not be made due to the conservative governments.
