1. Mr Woodhouses family incluldes two daughters, their dad and a governess, Miss Taylor, who`ve been in the family for sixteen years now. In the text "Emma" we get to read about Emma and a part of her life. Her sister Isabell is just married.

2. Emma Woodhouse is clever, handsome, and rich, with a comfortable home and a happy disposition. Now that her sister is married, and Miss Taylor is gone, she is the new misstress of the house. Although she lives the upperclass life, she is educated.

3. Emma and Miss Taylor are more like sisters and they have a really good relationship to eachother.
