18 agos 1920 año - Womens Right to Vote
Descripción:
Just one year after the 18th amendment was passed, the 19th amendment was passed giving women across America the freedom to vote. Suffragists like Susan B. Anthony had fought for years to get women the right to vote and hoped that women voting would change the political atmosphere in America. It was not successful at doing this however, because most women simply voted the same as their fathers or as their husbands. Women getting the right to vote was still a major step forward for gender equality in America.
