Now all the users who haven't uploaded an avatar will automatically get new colourful one with their initials. For example "Abbie Wool" would get AW.

For non-latin characters we'll use default avatar with different background based on the employee's ID. In addition, we created a script to identify all the default avatars coming from social media accounts. We identified 56K avatars which we also replaced with the user's name initials.

Last but not least, we made it easier to upload new avatars. Instead of going to My Account -> General Settings -> Edit Personal Details, when you don't have an avatar, now you can simply click the newly added "Add image" link in the ACCOUNT section in the navigation or in the Profile page.
