After a couple years in discussion, Chief Justice Warren gathered many justices to make the decision of calling segregation in public schools unconstitutional. The doctrine of "separate but equal" had no place within the public schools and the immediate decision came through to desegregate the schools all throughout the Southern states. Everything else preceded in deliberate speed.
