This daughter and father were very good divers and swimmers. They were paid by the Persians to swim down to shipwrecks and collect the loot and bring it up to them. After they did this Persia decided to capture them and keep them in custody because they thought that they knew a lot of information about them and they would tell it to Greece. Hydna and Scyllias escaped, cut the anchor off the boat messing up the direction the boat was going, and swam to the Greek forces and told them everything they knew helping Greece greatly.
