The daughters of Liberty was comprised of revolutionary women. The daughters of liberty participated in political conversations from their homes and they began manufacturing goods at home while their husbands fought in the war. While many men were fighting in the war, their wives stayed home and took care of the farms as well. However, some women showed their bravery by fighting in the war. However, at this point in time, and ever after the Revolution, women still did not have many rights including the right to vote or obtain property.
