4 h 37 m, 23 abr 1630 año - Massachusetts Bay Colony
Descripción:
Much like the Plymouth settlers, the majority of settlers in the Massachusetts Bay Colony wanted to modify the Anglican religion. The Massachusetts Bay Company was established in London by Puritans, where the received a charter for the voyage. The journey was well planned and there was no starving time, unlike the Jamestown settlement. The settlers of Massachusetts wanted to create a “city upon a hill”, which they could use as an example to England. The colony soon established self-governing settlements, all of which contained a school and church. Key Concept 2.1.11
