The Treaty of Tordesillas was made by the Catholic pope when Spain and Portugal were fighting. He made a line on the map , one half was Porteugese land and the other was Spainyard. This plan did not work becuase the Earth is round so they would just continue to sail until reached other side.Añadido al timeline:
