Canada and the USA are said to have an integrated gas market. About 20% of Canada's natural gas consumption is imported from the USA. So when getting gas, it would be hard to know for sure which gas you are putting in your car. On the other side of this, 11% of the USA's gas consumption is imported from Canada. This integration of our gas markets shows how globalization impacts economy as we work together to make profit, and also how globalization eliminates borders, as two markets in different countries are integrated.
