his first impressions of white people was similar to john smith's of the native americans, he saw them as savages and barbaric.
on his slave ship otw to america, slaves were jumping overboard and being punished for not eating. he also though the white people controlled the boat with magic because he had never seen anything like it.
"Oh ye nominal christians! might not an african ask you-learned this from your God, who says unto you, do unto men as you would men should do unto you?" this quote shows the hiprocacy he saw in the europeans
