Praises the new American life, when Europeans come and become new Americans dropping their old identities and prejudices so they can become one new culture
Credits the individual more than the group (unlike Puritan mindset)
Religious sentiments are less important now and now there is a new secular mindset
Success will come to those who work hard; success doesn’t just come instantly to people when they come to America
The country will flourish with this mindset
