The Tang Dynasty happened after the fall of the Sui and was created by the first emperor, Tang Taizong. The Tang focused heavily on agriculture and accomplished this by heavily reducing taxes on Farmers, which encouraged more people to convert to the profession. The Dynasty was also the start of the Equal-field system, which was an attempt to distribute land equally. This led to corruption problems, because of attempts to take more land than given to you. The Tang dynasty expanded Northward and had a very strong military. Even so, the dynasty ended after a rebellion and the ransacking of Chang’an. (3.2)
